Sea Ray Puts Jet Boat Plan to Rest
On September 5, 2013, Sea Ray announced that they will not be entering the jet boat market after all. After extensive testing, they have concluded that the "propulsion system of the prototype jet boats did not meet the quality, durability, and reliability" that Sea Ray is known for.
Sea Ray added that they will continue to develop new boats and extend their current product line up to 65 feet for the 2014 model year.
