Towing Tip #7

No matter how far you will be towing, use ratchet straps on the transom of your boat.  This will keep the stern from bouncing up and down on the trailer and protect the outer most layer, the gel coat. Since gel-coat does not have any structural integrity, it can crack very easily with this bouncing motion.
These new ratchet straps mount directly on the trailer and are water resistant.  You never have to worry about forgetting them at home.
