When you think of the brand John Deere, you generally think about big tractors plowing land or a riding mower to cut your back yard, not very often do you associate John Deere with something that will help you cut through the water. Actually, John Deere has been producing diesel marine engines for quite a long time, they have just never been very popular in the United States due to emissions requirements.
Recently John Deere has announced that it will meet the Environmental Protection Agencies Tier 3 emissinos regulations with a complete lineup of engines ranging from 99 to 750 horsepower. John Deere will add onto their already extensive lineup a 9.0L and 13.5L engines to their 2014 lineup.
